James Moran, 1930-2015

James Thomas Moran, 85, of Aspen, Colorado passed away March 28, 2015. He was a dear friend of the Aspen Historical Society’s, most recently serving on the steering committee for the Aspen Historical Society campaign.

Jim  was born March 9, 1930 in Madison Wisconsin to Frank and Mary Moran. James served in the army and he was involved in many organizations where he volunteered his time which included the Aspen Historical Society, Pitkin County Library, and Community Health. He was the former president of Colorado Bar Association, Colorado Delegate to the American Bar Association. He also served 11years on the University Hospital Board of Colorado. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Louise Moran, stepson Steven Dean Wenzel. He is preceded in death by his son Charles Thomas Moran, parents Mary and Frank Moran, and Brother David Moran.
