Tour Aspen Mountain’s Gondola Plaza neighborhood and hear stories of the neighborhood’s fast-paced past. An historical central meeting place, the area was once home to the terminus of the Colorado Midland Railroad along Durant Avenue to the west, as well as the mining-era “Red Light District” to the east.

The History in Your Backyard series features short lunch-hour tours to explore the stories of familiar places in the Aspen area.

Meet at Gondola Plaza
